The Google Good To Know Digital Literacy Curriculum was divided into three classes: Become an Online Sleuth, Manage Your Digital Footprint and Identify Tricks and Scams Online.

At the beginning of 2013, Google approached The Internet Keep Safe Coalition and asked us if we wanted to be involved in the redesign of their Good to Know digital literacy curriculum. We accepted and our team got to work.

Each Class starts with an Instructor's Overview which provides a description of the material that will be covered, how much time is required, essential questions to ask students, learning goals, a vocabulary list and all the academic standards covered (ALA, Common Core, NETS).

iKeepSafe created the content and then it would be reviewed by Google and Google Certified Teachers. Once feedback was received, myself, and a few other colleagues, would make the necessary edits and resend it to Google. This process was repeated until we reached the final version.

This curriculum has been implemented in primary and secondary schools across the nation.
